CASE STUDY - NUMBER 1 (General Contracting Company)

The Scenario:

This young general contracting firm needed to increase both sales and profitability. After 12 months
of operations and 7 years as a contractor, they were in a negative profitability and cash flow position.
The budget was limited, and the market was shrinking due to economic trends.

The Solution:

We reviewed former and current projects to understand why profit was an  issue.

We identified several major errors in business practices. After implementing our
suggestions, the company began to bid at a profitable level and complete projects without

negative cash flow and produce profit.

We helped develop a new Guarantee and U.S.P.

The Result:

The company’s closing percentage went from 23% to 69% - a 300% increase. Within two months the company had moved from a negative cash flow to a positive position - sales tripled, and
each new sale was profitable to the company. Both principals have increased their monthly
earnings while growing the business. The company is on plan to triple its revenues in 2008.
CASE STUDY - NUMBER 2 (Manufacturing Company)

The Scenario:

This well established manufacturing company needed to improve their processes and systems to
increase revenue, improve inventory accuracy and decrease costs.

The Solution:

We identified areas needed to implement new systems to leverage time and  therefore
    increase revenue.

We helped document areas where the new systems could streamline process so the
same number of people could process more orders and improve inventory accuracy.

We targeted areas of redundancy within the operation to reduce costs.

The Result:

systems have also allowed further growth within the business without the correlation of additional costs.
CASE STUDY - NUMBER 3 (Software Company)

The Scenario:

This software company is on the upward side of the bell curve which means that their market is
new and not widely accepted.  Their market is new, yet they struggled with all the standard
challenges of a software company.  Tight delivery timeframes, customers not necessarily sure of
the requirements they want from the product.  This software company needed to be able to
increase cash flow, profitability, time to market and overcome significant team issues given the
distributed nature of the team.

The Solution:

Financials were reviewed to determine accurate financial status.  It was determined that
more accurate record keeping was critical as well as more details cash and financial
    forecasting was required.

The team was brought together for a week of team alignment, product  planning and goal
setting.  Both company and product direction for the next 5 years through to 90 days was
    documented and put in place.

Financial management was put in place resulting in an overhaul of consultant billing rates
to the company, billing rates to their customers and financial planning processes.

The Result:

Improved cash flow is being generated.

Goals that were defined are being accomplished.

Improved balance between work and personal life is being achieved.

Revenue is increasing with significant potential and recognition within the marketplace.

Improved management of projects and delivery to customers allowing for increased
    customer satisfaction.
CASE STUDY - NUMBER 4 (Advertising Company)

The Scenario:

An advertising executive was provided a challenge to increase revenue generated by ads by 40%
with a decreased number of staff.  This was critical to the success of the organization and the
executive.

The Solution:

Time management was reviewed to determine how to best leverage time and ensure
    advertising success.

Review of current advertisers to determine success and utilize testimonials.

Training and education of current advertisers to better test and measure the success of the
    advertising.

Focused time and a detailed plan targeted to the new advertising being sought by the
    organization.

The Result:

Increased advertising revenue by 50% and within 10% of goal within 6 months.

Improved time management to allow for 40 hour work week.

Increased satisfaction by customers and the results of their advertising.

Growth by the organization.
